Description
Change the Outcome provides focused learning opportunities about the important aspects of opioid use and the disease of addiction. Change the Outcome was established in 2017 to raise awareness, educate and understand addiction and the Opioid Epidemic. We strive to reduce stigma, shame and judgement. Change the Outcome will provide information about current drug trends and how legitimately prescribed drugs can have risks. Change the Outcome will explore how predisposition plays a role in developing the disease of addiction, the importance of self-advocating, alternatives to opioids for pain relief, how to use of Naloxone to save lives, and how to support those who struggle.
