Well known for her nature, landscape and wildlife paintings with a strong northern Minnesota influence, O’Brien will present new and past works. She works out of her Evergreen Farm Studio, located just west of Bemidji near Solway. Most of O’Brien’s work is inspired directly by nature itself, much of which surrounds her at Evergreen Farm Studio. She has painted with acrylics on a number of mediums, including canvas, leather and wood. O’Brien is a respected art and painting teacher, with decades of experience working with students of all ages. She especially loves to teach students the healing power of art and encourages everyone she meets to pick up a brush. Join us for the opening reception and meet the artist on the First Friday Art Walk, August 2nd from 3 - 5 pm. Wild Hare is located at 523 Minnesota Ave.
