Ron “Kaboose” Wilson is an enrolled member of Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and a full time touring hip hop artist. Kaboose has been touring the country doing school assemblies, Colleges, festivals and shows with a dynamic message, engaging and challenging listeners to believe in hope against the toughest of circumstances! His positive message, relevant mix of music and storytelling form an authentic connection with his audience helping others to overcome hurdles in their own lives and become proud of who they are and where they come from. Micah Prairie Chicken is an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Oyate in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. He is currently a 5th year Ph.D. student studying clinical psychology at the University of North Dakota. Aside from his academic endeavors, he has spent the last 10 years DJing hip hop events around the country and especially in Indian country with Ron “Kaboose” Wilson. He has also taken to telling his story of overcoming difficulties in his adolescence through engaging in Lakota culture and hip hop.
