Run/Walk/Skate for Suicide Prevention 2019

Description

Join us Saturday, September 8th  for the Annual Run/Walk/Skate for Suicide Prevention. The event will be held at the George W. Neilson Convention Center at the Sanford Center Bemidji. The event begins at 8am with same day registration, resource fair, suicide loss survivor room and other pre-event programming.  The event includes a 5K Walk or Run or skate, and a 10K run. The running events are chip timed. The run/walk/skate opens with a program at 9am and actual start time is 9:30am. There will be awards for gender and age divisions. Bring your family and friends to run, walk or skate to bring awareness to suicide prevention, raise money for suicide prevention and save lives.  You can form a team and collect pledges to have your registration fee waived. All funds raised support the Beltrami Area Suicide Prevention Program,  a program of Evergreen Youth & Family Services. The program helps to educate, increase awareness, build skills, reduce stigma associated with mental health suicide & substance abuse, and support survivors of suicide loss.
