Cornerstone Residence of Fosston is seeking a new Licensed Assisted Living Director!
Full-time, Monday through Friday, Flexible Schedule
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Assisted Living Director to manage the daily operations of Cornerstone Residence of Fosston. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and supervising all staff within the assisted living facility. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality programs and services that foster a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for our residents.
The ideal candidate will direct all aspects of the facility in alignment with regulatory standards, resident needs, and the mission and values of Cornerstone Residence. This includes maintaining compliance with state and local guidelines, promoting resident well-being, and supporting staff to provide exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the facility to ensure smooth, efficient, and resident-focused services.
- Recruit, hire, orient, and manage on-site staff, fostering a collaborative and caring team environment.
- Ensure high-quality programming and services that enhance the quality of life for all residents.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that reflect the mission of Cornerstone Residence.
- Collaborate with residents, families, staff, and community partners to meet evolving care needs and build a strong community culture.
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Assisted Living Director license (BELTSS) or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position.
- Valid MN Driver’s License.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local assisted living regulations and landlord/resident laws.
- Experience working with senior populations.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills for managing teams.
- Ability to develop support services and foster community relationships.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels—staff, residents, families, and leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills
