Growing Together: MHAS Annual Meeting & Celebration Join Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society on Saturday, October 3, for an evening celebrating the people, places, and experiences that make our organization and Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve part of the Bemidji community. This year’s annual meeting and celebration brings together members, volunteers, donors, partners, families, and friends for an evening at the Preserve’s Jeep Shed. Enjoy drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and a light meal, music, conversation, and time to connect with others who care about birds, nature, and our community. The evening will include a look at the year behind us, highlights from MHAS and the Preserve, guest remarks, and our annual meeting business. We’ll also share what’s ahead as we continue growing programs, opportunities to experience the Preserve, and our work to care for this special place. The program begins at 4:30 p.m. at Neilson Spearhead Nature Preserve. Sweet treats and s’mores will be available later in the evening.
