Electronic Banking Specialist I
Department: Electronic Banking
Reports to: Customer Relations Officer
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves both internal and external customers and every effort should be made to do so whenever the opportunity presents itself.
This position does not involve direct day to day supervision of employees.
Confidentiality of customer information cannot be overstated. It is expected that all customer information be kept in the strictest confidence. We must do whatever it takes to ensure that our relationships with the public are not jeopardized.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with questions related to Electronic Banking via the telephone or in-person. This role may help monitor reports and will also do filing for the department. This position involves ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by optimizing the department’s performance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist customers over the telephone with electronic and deposit account related inquiries
  • Have knowledge of the various electronic banking services offered, including how each works, and their capabilities and benefits
  • Pull, review and follow procedures for various reports in the Electronic Banking Department
  • Promote the bank’s culture, and goals and objectives set forth by FNBB management
  • Assist with training new hires per the direction of the direct manager and/or Electronic Banking Specialist III
  • Assist with testing, training and implementation of new products and services
  • Ensure backups for the position are properly and thoroughly trained
  • Attend required staff meetings

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Customer service experience required, prior banking experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive use of computers, calculators, and telephones
  • Sit for extended periods of time
  • Primary work environment for this position is that of a typical office setting
HOURS
  • 8:00am- 5:00pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday; occasional Saturday rotation 8:00am – 12:00pm
  • This position is not eligible for hybrid work
  • It is expected that work be completed, therefore additional hours may be required in order to accomplish certain tasks
  • Time cards are required and any time over 40 hours will be paid at the rate of time-and-one-half
COMPENSATION RANGE      
The compensation range for this position is: $19.00 – $21.00.  This range reflects the base compensation for this position.  Please note that the specific compensation for this role will be determined based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
